A GIANT STEP FOR THUY TRINH

When I was going to school, I thought about what
career I would choose.I loved helping people and thought
nursing would be good, I also loved doing hair, especially on my
12 year old cousin.
After finishing school, I went to Hung Vuong University in
HO Chi Minh City and studied Japanese for 6 months, later I
studied English for 6 months.
When I decided to study hairdressing in Australia, I asked
my aunt and uncle who live in Melbourne, which would be
the best school for me to learn.
My uncle visited The Australian Academy of Hairdressing and
said it was the best, because they have so many people coming
to their salon every day and I'd get lots of experience.
To get my student Visa, I e-mailed the Student Co-ordinator
many times from an internet café and she gave me all the help I needed
to get a 2 year Student Visa to do Certificate III in Hairdressing. I saved money doing it this way with the Academy instead of using an agent.
I love my course. I'm learning so much and practising with people in the
salon every day. The students and my teacher are very friendly.
In the school holidays, my cousins are helping me improve my English.
I just want to be the best hairdresser I can be and keep my clients happy.
