NIGHT COURSE A BREEZE Anna Sagolj was 16 when she arrived in Australia from Croatia. Anna worked in a factory, married, and had 2 daughters and lives in a bayside suburb of Melbourne. HOW DID YOU MANAGE BOTH HOME & YOUR EVENING COURSE? "My husband was wonderful. He's done everything for me. I could not have managed it all without him. My girls are at school, so that made it easier too," said Anna. COURSE LENGTH REDUCED BY 4 MONTHS "Instead of 18 months, my course was finished in 14 months because I didn't take any time off. Also, we could work at our own pace and as I gained confidence, I found the work easier, especially towards the end." INSTRUCTORS "Our instructors went out of their way to help us, they were fabulous," Anna said. "I found the work easy, funny and enjoyable!" smiles Anna. "The funny part is speaking with the clients, sometimes they said really funny things to me and we always had a good laugh. The Academy was not an atmosphere where you had to be serious all the time," explains Anna. FUTURE PLANS "I'm going to open my own salon. I can't wait," she said.
