"COME ON DOWN" For Gillian Gilhooley, the move from Sunderland in the U.K. to Australia was the most exciting time that she and her husband and 13 and 10 year old sons had ever experienced. STUDENT VISA Although she worked as a Personal Assistant, earning good money and had never been to Australia, she found an agent in London and, with her Student Visa, settled in Melbourne. She began a hairdressing course at a College recommended by the agent but found that after 6 months, she was not satisfied and decided to transfer to "The Academy". "I was concerned that there were not many clients, we practised mostly with manikin heads," explained Gillian.
